Rename of exixiting COE: HRSD Servicenow

Hello All,

I'm working on a requirenment where the Client had asked to remane the COE that are provided OOB in HRSD of Servicenow.

Can anyone please help me with the steps for renaiming the COE.

Hi @SakibAli ,

Changing OOB COE is not recommended approach , if you want to do, navigate System Definition -> Tables.
Select your table & change the label only.

Hi @SakibAli ,
If you want to modify COE names, please do the following:

  • Navigate to your instance as an Admin and open the ua_entitlement.LIST table.

  • Open the intended record and update the name of the COE. (Please note that you will have to update the name using a background script.) This is not recommended, however, since the COE configuration is cascaded down to many HR child configurations.
