Tech pipeline, meet human potential

Bordering coastal living and rich in community spirit, West Palm Beach is emerging as one of Florida’s fastest-growing innovation hubs. With local leaders driving smart development and educational investment, the city is preparing its residents—and its economy—for a future shaped by innovation and opportunity.

At ServiceNow, we believe the future of work must include everyone. That’s why we’re working alongside the mayor's office, Palm Beach State College, and local leaders to launch RiseUp with ServiceNow in West Palm Beach. Last week, I had the opportunity to join West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James; Dr. Ava Parker, president of Palm Beach State College; and Eric Silagy, vice chairman of Related Ross, for a powerful conversation on workforce advancement and the city’s growing innovation ecosystem. It’s clear: West Palm Beach is ready to rise—and our aim is to create career pathways that meet people where they are and develop a tech pipeline.

Why West Palm Beach?

Through initiatives such as the Mayor’s Jumpstart Academy—a program that supports community members with career planning, financial literacy training, and mentorship—West Palm Beach is focusing on empowering individuals to unlock their career ambitions. ServiceNow is complementing those efforts by delivering job-ready training in digital skills to help create lasting careers in this human renaissance unleashed by AI.

We’re proud to collaborate with Palm Beach State College, whose continuing education programs serve more than 40,000 students—including more than 1,000 veterans—across five campuses. These learners are often adults returning to school or pivoting careers. RiseUp with ServiceNow offers them an accelerated path to in-demand roles such as system administrator and low-code application developer.

Breaking barriers to tech careers

RiseUp with ServiceNow is built with access at the center. It removes barriers to tech careers and creates opportunities for those who may not have followed a traditional path.

Our program delivers:

While local demand for ServiceNow roles in West Palm Beach is growing, our focus is also on building remote-ready and transferable skills—so learners can thrive in WPB or tap into opportunities across the broader tech ecosystem.

Purpose-led innovation, powered by people

We call this place-based impact: tailoring global programs to the needs of communities. It’s how we show up with respect, humility, and commitment. We’re not just launching a training program; we’re helping write a new chapter for the community. And we’ve already seen meaningful momentum in New York City and in the UK.

In a city poised for transformation, RiseUp with ServiceNow can help ensure the benefits of innovation are shared. With every new cohort of learners, we get closer to a future where opportunity isn’t limited to some—it’s for all.
